Ilha do Ermal Story!

Since its inception in 1999, the Festival Ilha do Ermal © always stood out from the others for their programming more "radical" and takes place in one of the most beautiful points of the country, the Island of Ermal.

The framework with the exuberant nature of this location only if provided, who attended the various editions of the event, unforgettable moments of contact with the freedom and beauty of wild fauna, flora, and beach music.

Vieira do Minho has become an obligatory point of passage in the summer kitchen.


The Decline!

Many passed by renowned artists from the Festival stage, and many producers are responsible for organizing the various editions of the same. The idea of making the festival more cosmopolitan, has proved inadequate and in recent years the success of the event was compromised, leading to its break even without any prospect of revival.

Is the charm of the island of Ermal is extinguished? Like almost everything that happens in this world of evil, the hand of man is always present and this case is no exception. The place is spotless and the first day of the Festival in 1999, Vieira do Minho still proudly aware of the potential of their land and people, and the public continues to yearn for the next edition of Ermal.

We believe it is possible to mobilize individuals and entities that allow the organization of an event that can bring glory to our deserved Festival. The month of August will have a different role to music in Portugal.

In order to provide a clear and coherent programming, no mixing of musical styles, with the rock genre confined to more "heavy" and that highlighted the early Ermal Island of other summer festivals. Artists will be invited to national and international reputation.
